All in all, Jim is set free and seen a gentlemen. Jim was being pampered by the family and received $40 dollars from Tom for being patient as a prisoner. Jim again became rich just like he said on Jackson Island. In the end of the story Huck finds out by Jim that his father had been killed and that was why he hasn't gone to gone to take his money. Jim told Huck that when they found the house by the river, the dead man inside was his father.
In the end it came out to be a happy and sad ending. Happy because everyone received something in the end. Jim was finally set free legally, Tom gets his adventure, and Huck gets to have a family again. It was sad because Huck finds out his father has been dead for a long time. Even though Huck's dad wouldn't be considered as having the best dad award, Huck still had feeling for him. I wonder how Huck and Tom will act when they grow up. Who knows how their adventures go from their. I can see them looking back on their childhood and seeing all their adventures and mistakes. This was a good book in the end.
